I haven't actually checked its capacity but guess it's about right judging by charge-up time. I've been using Makita cordless tools for many years with only one battery failure and that was after many charge-discharge cycles, I think these batteries are very robust.

I decided to buy cordless June 2022 after discussions with some joiners. They only used cordless and only Makita. I bought a circular saw and planer. I bought my multi tool last month with no batteries so bought these two a few days later. I can't speak highly enough. Their power is amazing, charge in less than 2 hours, fit all equipment, and snap in easily! Slightly disappointed these did not come with plastic snap on covers like the others I have (protects the terminals when not fitted to a tool), but very happy otherwise.

Makita 18v LXT tools are just brilliant. So many tools to run off the same battery!!

Good kit, bought 4 of them few years ago and theyre still going strong although 1 git stolen so had to replace and bought 2 extra, also i have just retired my 3ah ones to the garage that are 10 years old and still going strong although dont last as long on circular saws etc, makita is just quality gear
