John Robinson, 27/01/2022Excellent Planer, was apprehensive at first considering I planned on using larger/heavier timber to plane up and run through, but after watching some youtube videos it seemed to hold up well with fairly heavy use. Also, being Makita it didn't really have to do much to live up to the quality they usually offer. Have only used for a month, just under, very impressed. If used properly and you don't go too 'gung ho' with it I'm sure you'll be fine. Very quiet, very clean and professional finish. Highly recommend, very portable, hefty (well made) and excellent quality.
James Girdler, 29/11/2021Really pleased with this machine, had problem sending wood through at first as resin had coated the base plate which created friction , keeping the plate clean is key to smooth transition of wood and also using a flat piece of boarding to place the wood on will keep plate clean and also creat smooth even plane and prevent any possible snipe
