As usual FFX have produced the best deal, I already have the full dewalt XR kit and needed to add the 125mm angle grinder to replace my old (overworked) one. I now always check FFX first when looking for new or replacement kit

Brilliant for cutting floor tiles, flap wheel sanding. Cordless so avoids accidental cable cutting. Easy adjustment of guard. Needs long running battery for extensive running.

I bought this to replace another brand's offering which kept letting me down on jobs. Fair enough. That was a domestic brand. This however seems in a different league and with enough batteries lasts me all day on a job. A good tool.

Dewalt was the only real option for me as I already have the batteries, but so far (2 weeks) so good. Certainly powerful enough though it does drain a 5Ah battery in around 30minutes of heavy use. The soft start and the fast stop are great. Fast stop means that you can put it down almost straight after turning it off. I am using 115mm disks in it, so the 125mm guard is a bit oversize and can get in the way. I will be looking for a 115mm guard for it, or modify the 125mm one.

was very surprised with how powerful this angle grinder is and it has cut anything that I have thrown and hasn't stalled while cutting unlike some of the cheaper grinders

Powerful angle grinder

Good product. Pity the on/off is a push switch rather than a trigger. I always find push switches bung up with dust when cutting stone - time will see how this one goes.

The grinder does look like a quality tool. Just picking it up looking and feeling it, you can tell when you've handle tools. Even though we are not discussing the battery, I'm surprised how quick the grinder uses the power up on my 18v battery. I didn't give 5 stars for value for money as I have only had the grinder for 2 weeks!

No brainer as I have the Dewalt battery platform. Never have reliability issues with tools and always perform up to expectations. Like the brake on the disk as my old Makita took forever to spin down. Seems to last well on a battery, no doudt as it's brushless. Tool free disk change is great.

Got sick off my corded grinder and this 18v one is the buissness. Use this mostly to cut 20mm porcelain!

this Dewalt DCG405N angle grinder is great to use, ergonomic design makes it easy on your hands and wrist, it has the quick stop brake so less chance of any accidents, would highly recommend it.

A bit weak, i.e. it lacks the torque of the 54v Flexvolt or even the 18v Milwaukee! The nut is a bit unnecessarily stiff for a slow tool change
