Panasonic 14.4/18V Li-ion Brushless Drill Driver Bare Unit - EY74A2X32
The all new shorter brushless motor helped designers to achieve our most compact high power impact driver with optimum centre-balanced ergonomics for more comfortable working - ultra compact body for use in restricted spaces. This drill/driver has multiple modes for all applications including hard mode, self-drilling screw mode, medium mode and soft mode. This bare unit does not include any batteries/accessories which must be bought separately.
New Brushless Motor - The new, large diameter Brushless Motors generate high power and efficiency. Plus the newly designed control circuit increases stable current flow to motor by more than 70%(compared with previous brushless models). This enables high power output to be evenly maintained until the task is completed even during high-load operation.Increased efficiency and flexibility:the new ’Speed Control Function‘
New ‘Speed Control Function’ reduces ‘run out’ for metal hole saw - This new function allows the user to select from three different low rotation speed settings (H / M / S), based on allowable maximum speeds* for metal hole saws. It greatly reduces ‘run out’ when using metal hole saws and prevents surface scorching on stainless steel and other materials.* Different ‘allowable maximum speeds’ are determined for metal hole saws depending on diameter and target material. ‘Smooth Start’ electronics allow easy, precise speed control - New advanced speed control electronics start rotation speed gradually. This enables very slow and smooth starts allowing ultimate control when starting drilling or working with small screws in precise applications.
New Hybrid Switch - To eliminate heavy friction to internal parts of the switchduring use of electric brake, we developed a new semi-electronic switch. This gives smoother operation and double the life expectancy of the part (compared with Panasonic conventional switches).
New Ultra Hard Chuck Jaw Tips - We increased durability of every part right down to the new metal chuck which features tungsten carbide jaw tips.These extra hardened inserts are brazed into each jaw to give extra ‘bite strength’ and substantially reduce wear.
Fresh new ‘Carbon’ design - To enhance the internal engineering and technology developments,a fresh new body design and material finish has been developed. With the unique carbon fibre textured finish and new comfort grip, style is added to substance with improved ergonomics too.
Panasonic 14.4/18V Brushless Impact Driver Bare Unit - EY75A7X32
These new models feature a ‘Self Drilling Screw mode’ which means the driver starts at its highest speed to cut a hole and then transfers to‘H mode’ (High impact) to powerfully cut the initial thread. After that,the load is reduced so it automatically switches to slower ‘Smode’ (Soft impact) to limit the potential of stripping threads on fastener or material. (Less than Ø4×15mm). With a more accurate and robust build than ever before these new impact drivers from Panasonic are well worth the investment.
Hammer - With optimal tuning of the compression spring and intelligent motor, the EY75A7 avoids ineffective impacting, reducing damage to the screw as well as noise and vibration.
Improved bearing design - New bearing design on the drive shaft greatly reduces‘center run-out’, improving accuracy and allowing smoother driving. Amplitude of vibration: 1.4mm with 110mm long screw (Panasonic internal test result).
New Brushless Motor - Thicker motor shaft (Ø 5mm) ensures more strength for heavy-duty use.
Durable Hybrid Switch - Hybrid switch unit uses rigid metal parts in the trigger to greatly strengthen giving 200% more durability (compared with our previous mechanical switch).
Robust Anvil - Redesign and improvement of anvil materials has increased durability of impact parts giving longer service life and increased overall performance.
Increased housing durability - Metal plates help prevent wear and damage caused by abrasion and vibration during heavy use.
