Makita DHR242Z 18V SDS Plus BL Rotary Hammer Drill Bare Unit
The Makita DHR242Z 18V SDS Plus BL Rotary Hammer Drill Bare Unit is ideal for professional and DIY use. It is a 24mm (15/16") Cordless Combination Hammer powered by an 18V Li-ion Battery. This rotary hammer features an efficient Brushless DC motor which provides higher productivity than that of the 18V DHR202. This hammer drill is able to drill in concrete as fast as the BHR200 24V Cordless Combination Hammer. The ergonomically designed easy-to-grip handle is designed to give maximum power thrust and provide a sure and comfortable grip in any operation, overhead application, drilling with palm-up or palm-down grip as well.
The DHR242Z features 3 modes of operation which are Rotation and Hammering, Hammering only and Rotation only. The tool body is separated into the upper and lower housings at the foot of handle portion where the houses are jointed with vibration absorbing cushion rubbers. Unique rubber joint construction suppresses the transmission of vibration to battery terminals, minimizing battery failures such as terminal breakage or poor electrical contact. This is a bare unit supplied without a battery or charger.
